Great Wolf Lodge commissions immersive 360 film to take their resort experience into new markets.
With an indoor water park, arcades, restaurants, resort & spa amenities, and more, Great Wolf Lodge offers everything a family could want for a relaxing and fun-filled vacation. It’s so much fun that they are planning to expand to new locations overseas. But how can they tell their story as they meet with the public and city officials in new markets? How can they provide a glimpse of what it feels like to be in one of their resorts? The answer: an immersive 360 film.
With an immersive film produced by 360 Entertainment, Great Wolf was able to have everyone experience their resort as if they were there in person.
Our approach for the film was to provide a day in the life narrative that followed 2 families as they experienced everything Great Wolf had to offer. The final film was produced in stereoscopic 360 which provides an added sense of presence. For a more dynamic immersive effect, we used our stabilized robotic rover to create moving shots that make it feel as if you’re walking through the resort.
Our scope included creative direction, 360 video production, and post production.
